The enemy roster is diverse and well-designed enough to not get boring throughout the length of the two available episodes, which, on the higher difficulties can turn your insides out in a few hits (a bonus for my fellow masochists). The weapons, in spite of some rough animations and balancing issues, are mostly punchy and fun to use, especially when a bloodied pulp of flesh is left before you when you unload a shotgun in some ancient lizard’s muzzle. The looping levels always leave a trail of believability for me, forming an illusion that the abandoned facility was actually once being lived in and operated. Under the Witch
