Pretty solid so far after an hour of play and first prestige. Some minor variety of game play mechanics but seemingly balance pretty okay. Pause/settings menu has some aspect ratio wonkiness on Steam Deck native resolution but main gameplay is unaffected (just exit game and couple of other elements get halfway cut off).  This guy has incremental design and art direction on LOCK. Watching the particles move around inside the reactor is extremely satisfying, and because need to bump into each other to react there’s a ton of room to experiment with ratios and combinations that you wouldn’t get with a traditional upgrade tree. Performance suffers a bit at the tail end but that’s part of the fun of setting up chain reactions. Nice little story, fun character designs. A Game About Feeding A Black Hole
