The amazing part of the game is the complexity, you have a sword, a bow and throwables. Your attacks include normal attacks, piercing attacks(can’t be parried) and various heavy attacks that use CHI. You can dodge roll, dash, jump, parry, parry and counter, block arrows, deflect arrows. You have an inventory system with loot being obtained from enemies and chests. You can equip various sword and bows, consumables and throwables. There is no free healing when reaching the save points so you will sometimes kill enemies with counters in 1 hit or they will take half your hp bar so you will eat 2 chicken legs, 1 canned beans and soba noodles to recover the hp(if you have them).
