Sweet short game, where you inspect cabins, and deem them safe or haunted. Lots of random events to encounter, but jumpscares are weirdly turned off by default, and need to be toggled in settings. also extremely interesting premise and very solid execution. Created a great horror atmosphere and there’s nothing worth complaining about at a 3 dollar price point. The Cabin Factory is an original take on the ‘liminal space’ horror genre and somehow manages to keep the terror fresh even though you are inspecting multiple copies of the same setting. It’s a great addition to indie horror games and I loved how they took the concept of a genre that’s saturated but then made it something completely new and fantastically tense at every turn.
