The main objective in The Hero We Need is to prevent the demons and other monsters from advancing towards the Human Realm and push them back by building towers. Towers are created using wood and stone, but the tower behavior and projectile are defined by what Runes the player attaches to the tower, creating versatile towers and allowing for an advanced strategy on the playing field.Defeating all waves will unlock the next level and grant the player new runes.
