You select one of the many characters and go through several short levels where you fight top down Musou battles, after each stage you select a new route with a specific power up reward, choose a new ally to join you or change your formation. After a few set stages you will face the boss of your area. There are four major areas in the game currently. Once you finish a loop you can invest your earnings into upgrading from a giant skill tree, and your chosen character can also gain permanent improvements by reaching certain character levels during play. You will die, but every time you should come back stronger. Gameplay is skill based, the game does not auto-attack like Vampire Survivors. You will have to frequently dodge clearly telegraphed attacks/projectiles – there is an i-frame system so dodging feels very satisfying. The Executive – Movie Industry Tycoon
